New Postdoc in Dresselhaus lab: Guojing Jiang

Welcome to Guojing Jiang who just started his postdoc in Thomas Dresselhaus lab of Cell Biology and Plant Biochemistry at the University of Regensburg. Guojing grew up in China and obtained a BSc. and MSc in plant science from SICAU, in Chengdu City. Since his undergraduate, Guojing has been attracted to the intricate and complex forms of plants and pays attention to understanding how plants, especially grass species in respond to a continuously changing external environment. In his PhD studies, Guojing shifted his research topic from rice to barley, mainly focusing on the genetic basis of inflorescence formation in barley. Now, he is excited to continue the plant science journey and work in maize, trying to deepen our understanding of maize embryogenesis.
